T9 Nav is a new application that uses T9 to automatically search the contents of a mobile device for practically anything. Rather than forcing users to open applications before performing searches, you can type in your search query on the home screen and it pulls up all the relevant items in contacts, settings, calendar, bookmarks, media, and, applications. This makes finding information on your phone much quicker. There is one-month trial version available now, and the full version will be available by the end of the second quarter.
How neat is that? For the non-smartphone user, it may not be that exciting. But with the amount of stuff that you can cram into a BB or PDA this is really exciting. I'm not a big fan of predictive text entry (because I use a lot of product names and abbreviations) but I may need to start.
Has anyone started using the trial software yet? If you have, why not review it and we'll probably totally post it!
