This won't affect most people, unless of course you have an older car with analog-only OnStar, in which case you were already screwed as of January 1st.
The really bad part is that in many places, old phones are given out by local police for citizens in need to use to dial 911.
I guess we can call this a dry run for next year.

I've had this iTouch for a month now and I have a lot of fun with it. It's like having a mini computer. The only drawback for now is that I can't use my car fm transmitter with this nor use the older apple dock. Wish they didn't change those things out! So needless to say I have to spend more money to change these things, but I'm pleasantly surprised that the speaker outputs more than I expected in a quiet room. Forget about using it when it's noisy though...
